Andrew & Lauren

I met Andrew & Lauren down at Greenhills, Cronulla last Friday afternoon for their engagement shoot and I have to say it was a lot of fun. The sun was out and it looked as though nearly everyone had succeeded in begging their bosses to let them off early as the beaches were packed.

I really enjoyed capturing Andrew & Lauren's friendship & love which was so clearly evident. Looking forward to bringing you their wedding later this year.

Luke & Karen

With Karen's family making the journey all the way from Ireland to Aus, Luke & Karen decided to treat their guests with the best backdrop of Sydney Harbour I could image for their ceremony. Well at least I thought it was until we got to the reception venue. I didn't even know you could have a reception between the Opera House and the Harbour! In terms of realestate we had a better spot then the Opera House.

Anyway...

As I've said many times before it's such a privilege to be a wedding photographer largely due to the time you spend with the couple which is often more than most of their guests do. It's during this time I love seeing how much a groom dotes on his bride and how much the couple really love each other and that if things go wrong it doesn't matter because they're married and have each other. Luke & Karen showed me, and I believe it shows in the images, that they are head over heels for each other and that a little wind (it was actually a lot) wasn't going to spoil their day.

So congratulations Luke & Karen and thank you for opening up your wedding day to me and my camera.
